Everyone knows Vijay starrer ‘Kuruvi’, was a disaster. It is produced by Udhaynidhi and it is his first production. Now he again goes to take chance in Tamil film Industry with lead actor Surya and ace director K.S.Ravikumar. Also Nayantara is playing the lead opposite Suriya for the fist time.

Udhaynidhi Stalin’s second film is named as ‘Aadhavan’ and it going to be big budget movie.  K.S.Ravikumar is going to crack again with the stars Suriya and Nayantara in his new film. Also he told to media, the attractive scenes of the film are going to take over the Chennai. Harris Jayraj is decided to compose the music for the fim ‘Aadhavan’. So we are expecting the Suriya-Nayantara duo in a Ravikumar film with Harris’s tunes.

Nowadays our Tamil film industry is emerging with lots of talented directors in a rapid growth compared over past few years. Of these one of the well known Directors for all is Myshkin, star-director in Kollyhood. He is famous for his recent debut such as ‘Anjathae’ and ‘Chitiram Pesuthadi’.

Now he was busy with his new project titled ‘Nandalala’. Almost he finished his film and waiting for the post production and release date. After that he planned to do his film with actor Surya, mega budget movie costing Rs 35 crore.

Myshkin likes to launch his new film, titled ‘Mugamoodi’, soon after the release of his ‘Nandalala’, but actor Suriya asked director to delay this project for some period, until he finish all his previous engagements. So Myshkin planned to try the film with other hero’s in the Kollywood. But producers are not interested in doing this movie other than Surya.
The budget for that film has to be revised according to the market value of the new hero.

The handsome hunk has been around for more than four years, but lady luck has been eluding him. He can emote and has a reach among the masses and they loved him in Arinthum Ariyamalum and Pattiyal. The petty- goon character created by his mentor Vishnuvarthan, gave him a rough and tough image. However the drawback is that none of the other directors have been able to give him meaty roles.

But all that is about to change, as he has Bala’s Naan Kadavul, ready for release in which he has an author backed role. Because bala is the director who has made superstars out of Vikram and Surya purely on the strength of the films that they have done with him. I think this will be followed by Vishnuvarthan Sarvam, where he plays the hero; the star is destined for big things this year.

After a numerologist asked Tamannah to add an extra ‘n’ and ‘a’ to her name, she has been going places in Tamil films. Her role as a college student in Balaji’s Saktivell Kallori, made her a favorite with the female audiences. Last year she did not have a single release but will have four releases this year with young guns of Kollywood.  She will star in Padikadhavan with Dhanush, in Anandha Thandavam she is paired opposite new boy Siddharth, in Ayan she is Surya’s heroine, Paiyya with Karthi and in raja Rani, the Tamil remake of Jab We Met she is cast opposite Bharath. She is definitely going to be the heroine of 2009, as she has oodles of glamour and oomph.

Director Bala couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the New Year. The audio of his film Naan Kadavul which stars Arya and Pooja in the lead, was released on New Year and the trailer which was screened on the occasion only raised expectations.

The function was attended by a host of stars, directors, producers and technicians including directors BaluMahendra and Mani Ratnam, and actors Surya and Vikram. On this occasion Balu MAhendra said, “Mark my words; this movie will fetch several awards in the International Circiut.” Also he added, “There was a time when I used to consider you as my kid. Now I look up at you as you’ve risen to Himalayan heights.”

Music Director Illayaraja, who has cored music for the film, was not seen at the function. However, Uttam Singh and Lyricist Valli represented him at the event.
