Suriya, after back to back blockbusters in ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ and ‘Ayan’, has signed for Hari’s ‘Singam’. He will play a police officer in the film. Earlier, Suriya played a police officer in Goutham Menon’s ‘Kakka Kakka’ and the film was a super hit.
In ‘Singam’, Tollywood hottie Anushka Shetty plays the female lead. Devi Sri Prasad will score the music and Priyan cranks the camera. The film is being produced by Gnanavelraja of Studio Green and BIG Pictures.
Hari, who had directed Suriya hits ‘Aaru’ and ‘Vel’, wielded the megaphone for Vikram’s cop film ‘Samy’, a mega hit.

In Tamil film Industry, unlike many other superstars Suriya is an actor who loves to experiment. We saw him as a hunchback in ‘Perazhagan’, as a pickpocket in ‘Nanda’, as a man suffering from memory loss in ‘Ghajini’ and in four different roles in ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’.
It is reported that Suriya will play an anti-hero in ‘Aadhavan’, to be directed by hitmaker K.S. Ravi Kumar. The film will be a full entertainer to all kinds of people. He will play the title role and Nayanthara will be his leading lady. The cast will have 45 actors, including Saroja Devi, Rahul Dev, and Vadivelu.

We all know Actor Suriya is very much dedicated to his film works compared over other actors in the film industry. In one of his upcoming films ‘Ayan’ he took very risky stunt sequence. It shows that the fight scene involving actor and as set of stuntmen as baddies was shot at the edge of a 600-feet gorge.
Director of this film K.V. Anand plan to use a body double in his place. But Suriya asked director and insisted on doing the stunt himself, and got away with it. For this fantabulous stunt, the ayan stunt director Kanal Kannnan, applauded Suriya’s courage and skill and expresed the hope that the stunt would prove a highlight of ‘Ayan’.

As we know many married popular heroines are being offered a part on reality shows or in TV serials. Now the Kollywood veteran director Selvaraghavan, wife cum actress Sonia Aggarwal decided to act in a television serial for the Kalaignar TV from December. She is reportedly asking remuneration of Rs.75, 000 per day for this serial.
One of the important things in this issue, such that famous actress Jyothika, wife of Suriya is also approached for this serial but she has reportedly asked a fee higher than what Sonia commands. Also she expressed her willingness to act provided the script is challenging enough to show her name in small screen.
