Warner Bros has backed out of the Venkat Prabhu film, ‘Goa’, putting co-producer Soundarya Rajnikanth in a spot of bother. Warner Bros was earlier upset with Soundaya’s Ocher Studios for signing up Jai, an actor banned by the Tamil Film Producers’ Council. Though the ban on him was lifted later, fresh trouble arose as the Indian partner refused to part with information with regard to the script, stars and budget.
Though the Hollywood major has opted out of this film, their association with the other projects of Ocher Studios will continue, including ‘Sultan, The Warrior’, it is learnt.
‘Goa’ stars Jai, Vaibhav, Premji Amaran, Aravind Akash, Sneha, Pooja and Julie. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music.
