Tamannaah Bhatia is taking South Indian cellulloid by storm! Come ‘Ayan’, and Kollywood would literally dance to the tunes of this Bollywood dropout.
The bubbly teenager, who started her acting career with ‘Chand Sa Roshan Chehra’ at the age of 13, became a star overnight following the release of ‘Happy Days’ (2007) in Telugu.
The Dhanush superhit, ‘Padikkadhavan’, has helped Tamannaah overtake Nayantara in terms of Oomph quotient. On the cards are Gandhi Krishna’s ‘Anandha Taandavam’, Karthi starrer ‘Paiyya’ and Bharath’s ‘Thambikku Indha Ooru’.

I’m waiting for more than two years to watch Parutheeveeran fame Karthi film ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. Atlast the film is completed and going to hit the screen by May. It is directed by Selvaraghavan and the most important aspect in this film is first time Karthi and Selvaraghavan going to work. In addition to this, Reema Sen and Andrea is the lead with Karthi. Most of the portions for this film are shot in Jaisalmer and Kerala districts.
For this film alone Karthi spend more than two years. After Paruthiveeran he didn’t act in any film, because of the cast for this film. I hope his hard work deserves and he will get fame for this film. Now, he is acting in Lingusamy’s ‘Paiyaa’ with the lead role of Tammannah.
Once again there is a trouble in making a Lingusamy’s debut film ‘Paiyaa’. It is a very big budget film for Lingusamy’s banner starring Karthi and Tamannaah. Karthi made his sensational debut in Ameer Sultan’s ‘Paruthiveeran’ two years before and won many awards for that film. After that he was busy with Selvaraghavan’s ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ for the past two years.
For that film he dedicated very much and worked hard. But working for two years to single film for an upcoming hero is questionable issue. I think he made a gap in his film carrier. But he will reward for his hard work in this film. At last Selvaragavan told him, that he will finish his film by January end. But now he told it will take one more to reshoot some scenes for that film.
So now Producers’ Council has informed Karthi in no uncertain terms that he has to complete the remaining scenes of Selvaraghavan film before starting new project ‘Paiyaa’. So I think Karthi and Lingusamy have to wait for one more month to start his new film.

After a numerologist asked Tamannah to add an extra ‘n’ and ‘a’ to her name, she has been going places in Tamil films. Her role as a college student in Balaji’s Saktivell Kallori, made her a favorite with the female audiences. Last year she did not have a single release but will have four releases this year with young guns of Kollywood. She will star in Padikadhavan with Dhanush, in Anandha Thandavam she is paired opposite new boy Siddharth, in Ayan she is Surya’s heroine, Paiyya with Karthi and in raja Rani, the Tamil remake of Jab We Met she is cast opposite Bharath. She is definitely going to be the heroine of 2009, as she has oodles of glamour and oomph.

Director Lingusamy’s home production, Thirupathi Brothers, is currently producing a couple of films including ‘Pattalam’ and ‘Paiya’. In his film ‘Paiya’ Paruthiveeran fame Karthi is to be hero with most shining actress of Kollywood Nayanthara. He garnered the Filmfare Best Actor award and was nominated for the National Award (Best Actor) for his stunning performance in his latest debut. So he is taking too much care on his recent projects like ‘Paiya’ and ‘Neeyum Naanum’.
Also Nayan is the one of the busiest actresses in south India and now she is busy with many big budget projects. It was a gossip heard that she is out of project due to some financial problem. But Lingusamy has made it clear that Nayan is very much a part of his pet project ‘Paiya’.
