When Shankar and superstar Rajnikanth join hands, there will be no dearth of style and surprises. We have seen that in ‘Sivaji, the Boss’.
The amazing combo are scripting another style marvel in ‘Endhiran, the Robot’, says source in the film unit. The superstar will be seen in 100 styles in a single song in the movie, he informs. The very special song was shot recently at Ramoji Film city in Hyderabad on Rajni and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The unique song was choreographed by Prabhu deva and took almost 22 days to complete. In the film, Rajni appears in a double role– as a scientist and as the robot he creates. The film is being produced by Sun Pictures.
The muhurat of ‘Chaitram’, directed by Raju Poopati, was held the other day at Ramoji film city near Hyderabad. Superstar Rajnikanth, director Shankar and Sekhar V Joseph graced the occasion.
Vijay produces the film on Rakesh Circuits banner. The film introduces Surya as hero. The regular shooting for the film will begin on May 15.
The director of the film said that the tag line of the movie would be “Season of Love”. The attempt was to capture the phases of school, college and marriage, he said.
The shooting for Kamal Haasan’s bilingual, a remake of the acclaimed Hindi film, ‘Wednesday’, has started on April 9 at Ramoji Film City, near Hyderabad. The film is being jointly produced by Kamal’s banner Raj Kamal and UTV Studios. Actor Chakri makes his debut as a director with this film. The Telugu version of the film is titled ‘Ee Nadu’ and the Tamil version, as ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’.
Kamal dons the grease paint after a hiatus of almost a year post the stupendous success of his ‘Dasavatharam’. He will be reprising the role of Naseeruddin Shah in both versions while Mollywood superstar Mohanlal and Telugu star Venkatesh will reprise Anupam Kher’s role in Tamil and Telugu versions, respectively. Kamal’s daughter Shruthi Haasan makes her debut as a music director with this film.
Tamannah is on a roll as her Tamil film with Dhanush Padikathavan is releasing from Pongal, while her Telugu film with Siddharth Koncham Kashtam Koncham Ishtam is releasing on Republic day. The audio launch functions of both films were held within a few hours of each other in Chennai and Hyderabad respectively.
The Sindhi girl from Mumbai surprised guests at both functions by speaking in good Tamil and Telugu – something that’s yet to be mastered by a lot of north Indians!
